Our friends at Rock the Earth are back once again in the Awareness Village all weekend. A 501(c)(3) not-for-profit, national public interest environmental organization that works with the music community to raise awareness of important issues, RtE has recently appointed a new Executive Director, Shawn Kilmurray, who comes to the organization after many years working at leading record labels.

Looking to marry his music industry background with his personal values and strong commitment to the green movement and environmental justice, Shawn is determined to advance the organization through the building of strategic alliances, expansion of brand building partnerships, and the growth of potential donor / member pool.

Get Involved!
Bring your old, unwanted mobile phones
to the Rock the Earth booth

In Partnership with Musictoday, Gibson, Collective Good and others, Rock the Earth is spreading the word about the growing problem of mobile phones in landfills (an estimated 1B thrown out last year!). They'd like to inspire you to participate in a recycling drive for great prizes, like CD's, DVD s, merchandise, shower passes, signed memorabilia, festival tickets, a Gibson guitar, and more!

So while at Mountain Jam next weekend, please bring all your old mobile phones to The RtE booth and pick up your on-site prizes and get entered into the summer long sweepstakes for a growing list of great prizes. Each phone you return gains you entry in the sweepstakes AND everyone will receive a 20% Musictoday discount certificate redee
mable for band merchandise!

Hello. I am posting on this blog because I am trying to get the word out about our organization.

Honestly, we need help. The entities that control this world do not want us to succeed in exposing their plans.

Please check out our website at the bottom of this post.

We need to start coming together as a nation and change the current "regime" through peaceful political means.

Also, please visit our band webpage and hear what our music is all about.
