Freestyle Frisbee

Demos from the Pro's

For most people, Frisbees are discs that are fun to toss back and forth with friends. But for Freestyle Frisbee players, the discs are the tools of a fun but challenging sport that combines gymnastics, eye-hand coordination, mental focus and physical dexterity.

The professional demos at Mountain Jam will boast behind-the-back moves, spins, leaps and catches between their legs or under them; These Pros are part octopus, part pretzel going after the flat, circular piece of plastic.

There are four main moves in freestyle
and all routines and tricks derive from those.

"Spinning"
rotating the Frisbee on the fingertip.

"Tipping"
popping it up again and again in the air.

"Airbrushing"
hitting the outside rim of the disc
in the direction of the spin.

"rim delay"
keeping the spin going with the fingers inside the rim.

and don't forget to carve out some time
for a round of Frisbee Golf

on our new 9 hole Disc Golf Course!
